This modern, waterfront hostel is located on the island of Ängö, 1.5 km from Kalmar Central Station. It offers a guest kitchen, TV lounge and sauna. Private parking and Wi-Fi access are free. Wooden floors and work desks are standard in Vandrarhem Svanen’s bright rooms. All have shared showers in the hall. Some rooms feature a small, private toilet. Microwaves, fridges and an electric cooker are found in the kitchen. Guests can use the tea/coffee facilities or fix their own meals there. A laundry room and ironing equipment can also be accessed. Svanen Vandrarhem Hostel’s dining room overlooks the lake and hosts a popular breakfast buffet each morning. Staff can arrange canoe rentals on request.
