Sweden’s first floating hotel is situated on Klädesholmen Island, 45 minutes’ drive from Gothenburg. The bright, modern guest rooms at Salt & Sill are located in 6 buildings on floating platforms. Each guest room has a TV and private patio. Guests can also enjoy a sauna-boat and swimming from a pontoon deck. Salt & Sill’s sea-side restaurant serves a menu of traditional, regional specialities, such as sill (the herring fish). Guests can rent bicycles at the property to explore the surroundings. Common area activities include fishing, canoeing and hiking.
