Welcome to Resta Gård – A Place to Breathe, Savor and Explore Imagine spending time on a real Swedish farm — a place where you can simply relax or dive into a more active countryside life. The choice is entirely yours. Wake up to the sound of the rooster crowing, hear the soft lowing of dairy cows, and listen to the lambs calling for their mothers. Right outside your door, you have unlimited access to a beautiful park area with a fire pit and pool, a kitchen garden where you can pick a berry or taste a fresh herb, scenic walking trails, and pastures filled with farm animals — the very same ones you might remember from children’s storybooks. This is not an industrial farm. Everything here is small-scale and personal, yet large enough to have our own creamery and charcuterie, as well as a cozy farm shop and café.
A Farm with History and Heart Resta Gård has been run by the Hane family since 2007. The farm itself dates back to 1296, and carries centuries of history — even myths about underground tunnels and ancient memories from the Bronze Age. We have a deep passion for food, animals, and nature. Our vision is to farm in a way that never compromises the wellbeing of animals or the environment. That’s why we practice ethical animal husbandry and keep everything 100% organic — no pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or chemicals. We want to create a place that is both beautiful and healthy — where natural biodiversity from forests and meadows blends seamlessly with a cultivated park designed for swimming, fire gatherings, play, and peaceful reflection.
A Hidden Gem in Fjärdhundraland Resta Gård is located on a hill in a valley where the Lillån stream gently flows by, in an area known as Fjärdhundraland. This is a region full of things to do, see, taste, and experience. Within a 40 km radius, you’ll discover a landscape dotted with farms, local producers, and charming destinations — often compared to the scenic Österlen in Skåne or the rolling hills of Tuscany in Italy.
