Charming recently built small house in central Älmhult. Walking distance from the train station and town center. The house is located in a quiet residential area and is in the same compound as the big house where the hosts live. The small house has a little patio connected to it. The inside is nice and airy, well designed. We even have a shared heated swimming pool that we are happy to share with guests. Please note that the swimming pool is only open from June to August. Nearby is a forest with walking trails. Älmhult is a perfect starting point to see a lot of Southern Sweden. You can comfortably take a direct train here from Kastrup. From Älmhult you can travel both to the east and west coast of Sweden.
We are a young family of 6 including two sweet little dogs. We are excited to host people at our charming little small house in Älmhult. We are friendly and very accommodating. Sometimes, it is only so much we can write about on the web. But please don't hesitate to just ask and we will do our best to accommodate and make your trip comfortable and enjoyable. See you soon!
Älmhult is the heart of IKEA. Visit the IKEA museum which is less than 5 mins walk from the house. IKEA store is close by too. Several forest trails are a great gateway to beautiful Swedish Småland nature. Möckeln lake is a beautiful place during summer. We definitely recommend a nice refreshing swim in the lake! Train station is only 5 mins walk from the house. Several popular places Malmö, Lund, Växjö, Kalmar are within 45 mins to 90 mins by train. If you wish to drive, all these places are reachable within 2 hours of drive. Everything is really close by in Älmhult. eg grocery stores, lake, IKEA museum, IKEA store is about 5-10 mins max by bicycle.
