Solar da Bica is a cosy and tranquil retreat. This comfortable guest house faces the mountains and has green natural surroundings. The Solar features accommodation in rooms and an apartment. The rooms all feature a private bathroom, satellite TV and mountain views. Guests of the apartment are welcome to prepare their meals in the fully-equipped kitchen of the unit. A homemade breakfast, featuring a variety of jams and local delicacies, is served each morning at the property. A heated salt water swimming pool and a sauna (extra) are available for guests to enjoy a relaxing break. A comfortable lounge, with sofas and a fireplace is also a part of the property, where guests can quietly enjoy a book or the scenic mountain surroundings. The Madeira International Airport is a 42-minute drive from the Solar da Bica. The famed São Vicente Caves, one of the most emblematic landmarks in Madeira, are a 5-minute drive away. The tranquil Solar overlooks the S. Vicente Valley and the green mountains of the Laurissilva Forest. It is an ideal starting point to explore the northern coast of the island and enjoy its landscapes. The Madeira International Airport is a 42-minute drive from the Solar da Bica.
