Salmoura is a beautifull old house located at the heart of the quiet and pitoresque algarvian village of Raposeira, composed by two independent houses united through a sunny patio & terraces where chanting birds, wonderfull fruit trees and flowers support to create a very pleasant and regenerative atmosphere. The thick walls made out of Taipa - the region's characteristic earth construction technique - painted with Lime, offer a particular environment of light, texture and acoustic that together with a mix of simple handcrafted & oldstyle traditional furniture give the place a unique and genuine south portuguese arabe scented charm.
Close to some of the greatest beaches of both South an West coast, at a minimum of 10min by car, and to the "finisterra" Cape Sagres it's location is perfect for who wants to explore what the Triangle "Lagos - Sagres - Aljezur" has to offer - a broad range of activities and tranquilities to enjoy: the unspoiled beauty of the Natural Park of Costa Vicentina- its beaches and walking tracks- sea & land sports, boat adventures, night life, cultural events, Monchique's unique landscapes and the region's delicious food to name a few.
