Located in between Évora’s Gothic cathedral and the Templo de Diana, this renovated convent features a courtyard swimming pool together with characteristic arched corridors and vaulted ceilings. The rooms at the Pousada consist of the old cells of the Lóios monks, which have been carefully updated in terms of comfort, while still maintaining all of its original and historical features. The private bathroom comes with bathtub and shower. The rooms come with free WiFi access, mini bar, air conditioning, safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. Guests will be able to enjoy the experience of sleeping in a cell, while still being assured of relishing modern comforts. Guests can enjoy Portuguese dishes in Pousada’s restaurant, which has a chic indoor dining hall and a covered terrace by the pool. There is also a bar and a large lobby with plenty of seating. The Pousada de Évora has a 24-hour reception that can arrange horse riding trips and hikes. Guests can also walk around the city centre and visit Giraldo's Square with its 16th century fountain.
