Set in tropical palm gardens with 2 swimming pools and views of the Atlantic Ocean, Hotel Girassol offers modern and spacious rooms with private balconies. Accommodations at Hotel Girassol are decorated in warm colours and have floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the balcony. The rooms and suites have a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The Hotel renovated all the public areas towards the end of 2016. The spacious restaurant borders the garden and offers salads and pastas. The pool area features a sundeck as well as a partly covered terrace. The Girassol is situated 2 km away from the Funchal’s city centre, which is a 30-minute walk away. The 24-hour staff can arrange car rentals and free private parking is available.
