Located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Andenia is a boutique hotel with only 9 rooms, each with a private terrace with views of the extensive gardens. For the included breakfast, guests can choose an “a la carte” option in addition to the breakfast buffet. The restaurant is open for dinner, with both Peruvian and international favorites, and there is also a bar/café with indoor and outdoor seating open all-day. Free WIFI is available in common areas and in the rooms. Andenia is 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Velasco Astete Airport in Cusco and is 10 minutes from the Urubamba train station to Machu Picchu. By train, it takes 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get to Macchu Picchu. The hotel provides tour services to help guests plan their visit. Activities organized by Andenia include archaeological visits to Maras and Moray, Pisac ruins and Ollantaymbo fort, adventure options such as cycling, trekking, kayaking and horse-back riding, and gastronomic and cultural options such as cooking classes, ceramics workshops and visit to local villages.
