This unique vacation rental property is a 5-minute walk away from a secluded beach. It has 5 different units you can choose from. Offering walking meditation labyrinth, a nature trail and dedicated areas for relaxation and meditation throught the property, Istmo Beach and Jungle Bungalows is situated in Playa Grande, San Carlos in the Panama Region. Guests can enjoy views of the jungle surrounding the property. All bungalows are air-conditioned, have a private bath with hot water, refrigerators, and a patio with hammocks and panoramic views of the property. Most units have fully equipped kitchens with their own dining area. Free WiFi and beach towels are also provided. Istmo Beach and Jungle Bungalows is set within 4 acres of rainforest, 1 acre of which is untouched, Playa Coronado is 14 km away and Playa Blanca 19 km away.

Hello, we are Sean and Ayesha, the owners and hosts at Istmo Bungalows. Panama is our adopted country, and we love it and are inspired by it! ISTMO is the Spanish word for isthmus or a small body of land connecting two larger bodies of land. In this spirit, we hope that our vacation rentals will help bridge connections and personal transformation for our guests. We love to travel and we love nature. We also love making traveling, exploration, and adventure accessible to everyone! We are blessed to have found the perfect plot of rainforest beside the ocean where we can build our dreams. Looking for a relaxing beach getaway close to Panama City? Somewhere you can comfortably telecommute while your children can still connect to their online classes? Our bungalows are close to Panama City and in an idyllic setting surrounded by nature, steps away from a secluded beach. Istmo Bungalows have some of the most comfortable beds you have ever slept on, low-key luxury for the nature lover who requires comfort. Pricing is based on occupancy and length of stay. Stay longer and get enjoy more savings! Stay 2-nights and get 10% off, Stay 3-nights and get 15% off, Stay 4 or more nights and get 20% off, Most units have a fully equipped kitchen with their own dining areas. The non-kitchen units have a small refrigerator and coffee maker, they do not have access to a communal kitchen nor the equipment to prepare or heat up food. All of our units have excellent WiFi making us a great option for remote working. Our property embraces nature and is situated on 4 acres of rainforest and we are just an 8-minute walk from an amazing secluded beach. While on our property you can enjoy our Walking Labyrinth, a Nature Trail, and areas throughout the property for relaxation, and meditation. Our bungalows are set into the jungle, so access is through uneven terrain and requires some climbing of steps.

Our property is located in Playa Grande, a rural beach community on the western edge of the Panama Province in the Republic of Panama. We are 1 hr 15 minutes from Panama City and 10 minutes from the town of Coronado. We are secluded but not isolated. We are an 8-minute walk to a secluded beautiful beach. As you approach the beach, the last 2 minutes of the walk are through a jungle trail with the warm tropical Pacific Ocean waiting for you. Something that attracted the owners to the area is the miles of black and white sand beach that has plenty of natural shade from the rainforest that grows close to the water’s edge. Our property is situated on 4 acres of land with intact rainforest. 1.5 hours from Panama City. 8 minute walk to family beach. 7 minute drive to El Plamar where you will find surf schools and board rentals. 20 minute walk along beach to Rio Mar our local surf break (if you have your own board). 12 minute drive to Coronado where you can find everything you need. 3 minute drive to Interamerican highway and local convenience stores. 45 minute drive to El Valle for Cloud forest hikes, rivers, waterfalls, horseback riding, local vegetable and artisans market
