Relax into the hammocks at CASA INDIA DORMIDA. We are located in a unique natural environment, with lots of birds and butterflies, very close to the trailhead of India Dormida and Piedra Pintada, in the authentic part of El Valle. We offer two vacation rentals, a 1 bedroom cottage (Casa Limon) and a 2 bedroom guest house (Casa India). Each unit is private with free parking on the property. Your terrace features a spectacular view of the mountains along with two hammocks, a charcoal barbecue, and dining table. Inside your casa the beds are comfortable and new, private bathroom with shower (hot water), cable TV, and well equipped kitchen. Your relaxing and successful vacation is close to our hearts. Nearby (1 minute walk) are buses and taxis and a mini mart for daily needs. El Valle town center is a 20 minute walk through a residential neighborhood.
I love meeting people from all over the world and welcoming them to El Valle, a very special mountain village. Communication is my specialty and I enjoy keeping things clean and organized. I moved to El Valle from the island of Maui in Hawaii (US). There is a lot of aloha here!
People love the stunning mountain views here. And the quiet natural environment. Casa India Dormida is in a residential neighborhood in the immediate vicinity of the famous India Dormida hiking trail. The popular hiking trail to Piedra Pintada is also nearby. The daily Farmer's Market is a short walk (about 20 minutes) with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and local artisans. Taxis and buses are easily accessible and our little neighborhood store, a one minute walk, has all your daily needs.
