Tirohanga Beach, located on the eastern edge of the Bay of Plenty near Opotiki, is a gently sloping white sand beach ideal for relaxation and family-friendly activities. Known as the gateway to the East Cape, it is the last accessible beach before the coastline becomes rocky. Family-Friendly Features The gradual slope of the beach and a small creek make it perfect for children to swim and play. The area is a popular school camp destination due to its safety and natural playground. Activities Walking & Jogging: The flat beach is ideal for walking and running.
