Sea-bactical Retreat is a self-contained coastal apartment with its own entrance. It has all the facilities for a self-contained stay offering 2 sleeping options. The queen bed space is screened from the main living area and has a tranquil garden outlook or there is a separate twin bedroom. The apartment overlooks a Japanese garden, a BBQ and deck seating area. From the garden gate you can walk through the park to Eastern Beach only a few minutes away. The apartment has a heat pump, well equipped kitchenette with a mini oven, air fryer, microwave, induction hot plate, dishwasher, fridge freezer, combo washing machine / dryer and a modern bathroom. There is a car park available for your vehicle and a lockbox for secure entry. Free WiFi / TV / Netflix is available. The peninsula location is unique and offers guests Eastern and/or Bucklands Beach for safe swimming and dining options. The Half Moon Bay ferry terminal is an easy 25-minute walk or a 5-minute drive should you wish to catch a ferry to the CBD or Waiheke Island. The apartment is private and separate from the hosts main home with its own outdoor area and entrance overlooking the public reserve and Eastern Beach.

Hosting has been a very rewarding experience for us and we have enjoyed hosting people from all over the world and of course NZ. This is our second hosting experience as we established a successful short stay accommodation in another local property and quickly achieved 5 star ratings from our guests. Beth and Tony love the outdoors, walks, boating, travelling and socialising with friends. Beth is a technology teacher and Tony worked in both commercial and retail property.

Sea-bactical is on the Bucklands Beach peninsula and within walking distance to Eastern beach, Musik Point and Bucklands Beach. At Bucklands Beach there is a boardwalk that connects to Half Moon Bay Marina with has a supermarket, ferry services, cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Marina takes about 25 minutes. Both beaches offer safe swimming and eastern Beach has two childrens playgrounds.
