Your time to relax & recharge after a long day cycling, walking or exploring gorgeous Wanaka. Wanaka's best coffee right on your doorstep, together with the pub & restaruant the locals choose, delicious patisserie, Four Square Supermarket, liquor store & launrette. Wake up after a comfortable night's sleep to views of the mountains and the scent of fresh air, knowing that your accommodation is just a stone's throw away from exhilarating cycling trails and scenic routes.
My husband, Craig and I live by the demands of our overly spoilt dog (Rookie). Both proud Kiwis who chose to move to this piece of paradise in Central Otago 7 years ago. We work to live, love travelling and seeing all that our beautiful New Zealand and the wider world has to offer. We have three amazing young men, all now on their own life journeys............... waiting for the grandkids to start arriving (not too soon though)!
Albert Town is only a smooth 6 minute drive from the centre of Wanaka. Great coffee, Patisserie, Restaurant, Takeaways, Laundry, Liquor Store and mini Supermarket all just a minutes stroll away. Add that to the magic Clutha River and walking/biking track and you are in one of the best locations in New Zealand. Enjoy local cuisine with kiwi beer and wine or grab yourself a french delecacy with the best coffee Wanaka has to offer. Hook restaurant and salmon farm just 3 minutes drive from your door. The ultimate Lake to Plate fishing & restaurant experience. Our suggestion would be to fish for your own salmon then enjoy your catch your way..... from wood fired pizza to a sashimi platter, enjoy! Salmon not your thing, they still have you covered with vegetarian, chicken & pork options. Great place to spend an afternoon. Your laundry is just across the carpark and Pembroke Patisserie is the perfect spot to grab a coffee & sweet treat while you wait. Having the convenience of a Four Square Supermarket in the complex is a brilliant asset whilst travelling. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for there. We have mountains, lakes and rivers. Some of the most scenic walking and biking trails, literally at your door. So, welcome to our paradise. Now, enjoy!
