Facilities at Commodore Motor Lodge include a children's playground, laundry facilities and a garage for motorbikes and trailers. Commodore Motor Lodge provides easy access to Lake Hood, Rangitata and Rakaia fishing waters and the Ashburton Walkway. Guests can enjoy a round of golf at the nearby Ashburton Golf Club.
