Starting life in the 1920’s as the townships original laundromat,‘Beach Folly’ is a delightful cottage that has been restored into a quaint and romantic space.
Nestled in the heart of Whitianga, the interior has been simply yet tastefully decorated to give you that light, breezy, relaxed holiday feel. Special thought has been put into delivering a comfortable home away from home, with quality Egyptian cotton bedding on the queen bed, and soft nautical furnishing in the separate lounge.

Originally from South Auckland, we now enjoy the lifestyle we have here in Whitianga with stunning beaches, walking tracks, fishing, kayaking and golf. A stay at ‘Beach Folly’ will give you the best of both worlds, you will feel immersed in the peaceful energy of the cottage, all while having local restaurants, cafes, movies, Geo-thermal hot pools, and resort shopping right at your doorstep. If cooking is your thing, the local supermarket is a two-minute walk away and you are only short stroll to the beach, making this the perfect holiday spot. You can also plan your 30 minute car trip to Hot water Beach and Cathedral Cove, or perhaps you might decide on an indulgent breakfast at one of the many cafes or restaurants, all within close walking distance.
