My name is Conrad and I am a visual artist. I grew up in the countryside on the Zeeland-Flemish coast. After living abroad (Brussels, Chicago, New York, Nice, Paris) for over 20 years, I returned to the Netherlands in 2012. The North Sea is an important source of inspiration for me. From the apartment you can see the most spectacular colors that are reflected in my work Winter greys, pastel colors in the morning, bright orange-red sunsets and threatening dark blue clouds over white waves. I rent out the apartment when I am not there, so others can enjoy the amazing views and the soothing inspirational beauty of the North Sea and its surroundings as well. Besides the sea and art, design and architecture are my great passions. Furthermore, I can enjoy a good meal immensely. I like to share my favorite restaurants in the region with my guests.

The seaside resort of Cadzand has an extensive sandy beach bordering the Zwin nature reserve. The extensive network of bicycle paths is ideal for exploring the area. The cultural city of Bruges is about 30 minutes away by car. Knokke, about 20 car minutes away, is perfect For luxury shopping. The region is known for its excellent restaurants and its peace and quiet.
