House rules: -Sunday check-in not available. - Check-in time: earliest arrival time 15:00 - Well behaved pets are welcome. We charge 5,00 Eur per pet, per night. Dogs must be registered in advance. -Fishing license price: 15 Eur per week. -Barbecue is allowed. -Smoking in the house leads to loss of security deposit.

Holiday house Fee has a spacious open kitchen with ceramic hob stove and oven, dishwasher. There are three bedrooms. The bedroom downstairs has an extendable bed. The house has a separate toilet. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a full bed. There is a possibility of an extra sleeping place. One of the bedrooms upstairs has three single beds. Another bedroom has a full bed, Tv and a closet. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine, a ceramic hob stove, an oven, and a sauna. The garden is fenced. You can use the barbeque in the garden. From the terrace, you can enter to the sauna room. There is (de) Sat. tv and (nl) cable tv.

Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, bird watchers, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘De Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar. Another three restaurants are even closer to your holiday house. Some of them offer spectacular lake views. Other good options to enjoy the local seafood cuisine are the sea harbor of Lauwersoog at the northern side of the lake, the old fishing village of Zoutkamp at the eastside of the lake or at Dokkum, the most northern fortified city of Friesland. To discover the National Park from the waterside you could bring your own boat or surf gear but there are boats and sailing boats for rent as well at ‘Paviljoen La Barca’. A boat-tour, or seal expedition can be booked around the corner and a ferry to the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog, with it’s many miles of sandy beaches, is leaving from Oostmahorn as well. With the title Dark Sky Park, in Lauwersmeer National Park you can truly experience nature in the dark!
