Harlingen is a picturesque harbor town, enjoy a day at the beach here, do some shopping and visit the town hall, the lighthouse and the Zuiderhaven marina. From Harlingen you can take the ferry to the islands of Terschelling and Vlieland. Visit the historical center and planetarium in Franeker. Don't feel like cooking?
