These are two stand-alone casitas that are on the backside of a large residential property with a big beautiful pool. The yard has a large grass area surrounded by palm trees and other plants, plus a cement patio area between the two casitas for sitting. The pool is located at the front of the property and is shared between the two casitas and the host, so it is a semi-private pool. The property is 50 meters from the beach and has an excellent swimming area that is very quiet during the week. The large casita has a king-size bed, small kitchenette and space for 2 hammocks to accommodate children. The small casita has a double bed and coffee bar, plus space for one hammock for a child. Both casitas have drinking water. We are almost 1km from a store and restaurant, so if you need snacks it is advised to stock up before arriving. Renting both casitas for a family or group of friends makes the patio a private gathering spot.
I previously owned a B and B where I hosted guests for 9 years. The most common guest comment was ¨this feels like home.¨ I enjoy it when people choose the type of property they like to stay at and then settle in and make themselves at home. This property with the two casitas is a new listing for me. I live on the property in the main house with my small dog Chela, who is lovely and loving, but a little noisy at times when she is protecting the property from street dogs and cats. Chela is typically by my side most of the time. I do my best to be here when guests arrive and give you a tour of the property, but a key can also be left in the lockbox when our schedules don't match up.
This is a super quiet neighborhood, with very little car traffic. It is almost like you are living in the country, but you are only 2.5km from centro and 1.5km from the beginning of the Malecon. The beach is only 50 meters from the property. In this area of the beach, it is typically very quiet with more people here on weekends. If you do not have a car, take a taxi or the bus, which runs down Calle 27 to the property which is on Calle 36. You are a 10-minute walk, and a 2-minute drive from several restaurants around Calle 46 and Calle 27, plus an OXXO store (no alcohol) on Calle 27 and Calle 44. Beer store - Calle 48 C27 y C29. Markets: Calle 54 C29 y C31. Calle 52 & Calle 31 at the fountain there are several small stores, bakery and tortillas.
