Welcome to Domo Hermoso — a handcrafted, eco-friendly dome built with the SuperAdobe technique, using local materials and a local team. Completed in 2025, the dome is nestled in the quiet beach village of Cerro Hermoso. Situated just five minutes walking from the beach, it's rustic, unique and surrounded by plants and wildlife. A perfect spot for couples or solo travellers who want to escape the ordinary and reconnect with nature. The dome Built using the sustainable, earth-friendly technique of SuperAdobe, our dome offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Inside, you’ll find a cosy, open-plan space with a queen bed, plenty of natural light and décor that reflects the soul of Oaxaca. The curved earthen walls, sculpted by hand, create a soothing organic atmosphere. At night time, you can stargaze from the bed through the sky dome whilst listening to the sounds of nature. You’ll also enjoy the privacy and convenience of the ensuite bathroom, seamlessly integrated into the dome’s design. The dome has his on private and equipped kitchen. The land The dome is set on its own private plot of land, surrounded by nature and free from other guests or structures.

The location The dome is located in Cerro Hermoso, a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path coastal village, close to the popular destination of Chacahua. Free from the crowds of the more touristy spots, it’s a place to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of nature. Enjoy the quiet beach where you will most likely be alone, swim in the clear waters of the laguna or savour fresh seafood under a palapa. Depending on the season, you’ll be able to spot whales, turtles and jumping rays from the beach, and even basking crocodiles in the mangroves.
