Dhigurah is located in South Ari Atoll (or locally known as ‘Alif Dhaalu’). In our local language, Dhivehi, the name of the island can be directly translated into ‘Long Island’ and has consequently the longest beach of the atoll. Its surrounding waters are known to be Whale Shark area. This ‘gentle giant, in our area reaching up to 12 meters in length, can be encountered throughout the year. Bliss Dhigurah is located on a local island in the Maldives. To respect local customs, there is a bikini beach near to the guest house for sunbathing. In the village we request our guests to wear moderate attire. Nevertheless, during activities by boat (off the island) organized by the hotel, these restrictions don't apply. To reach Bliss Dhigurah from Velana International Airport (MLE), additional transportation is required. This is not included in the room rate. Please reach out to us for the preferred and most convenient mode transportation. *Please be aware that alcohol is not severed, nor allowed on local islands in the Maldives
