Tourists typically think Floriana is Valletta, but it’s another town, just outside of Valletta’s walls. The benefits of being in Floriana are many. First of all, you won’t have annoying constructions sites as in Valletta, nor noisy pubs and restaurants. Yet you will be just minutes away from everything. Also Floriana is a proper village with better grocery shops than Valletta, has pharmacies, bank with cash machine, bakeries and two lovely panoramic parks with a children playground. You will enjoy all the benefits of being walking distance from the capital, being close to the bus terminal, able to park your car, and avoid the noise of crowds of cruise lines. Also the new fast Gozo ferry departs at walking distance from the apartment at pinto wharf. Floriana has free car access 24/7 (contrary to Valletta), convenient car park 2 min away (3 euros / day), free white car park by waterfront (2 min walk). Also the Floriana park and children playground, bus stops for all routes, grocery shop, bakery, pharmacy, bank, health centre are within 2 min walking distance. Ferry to the 3 Cities is 5 min walk down by the water at Victoria Gate.
