A freshly restored townhouse hidden down a charming side street in Senglea. There is a comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen, a brand new bedroom with ensuite shower and a stunning roof terrace with a grand view across the harbour to Valletta. In an area still relatively untouched by the march of modernisation you are immersed in the real Malta. You are super close to the waters edge, both the docks and promenade, and the bus stop and ferry to Valletta are within walking distance.
My name is Niki, I’m 32, I live in Malta with my little 3 year old daughter. We like to spend our time enjoying the sunshine and exploring the world we live in! Either me or one of my very lovely friends will be more than happy to show you the ropes of the area. Someone will aways be a phone call away should you need some help!
Senglea is a historic fortress town, one of the three cities founded before Valletta in the 1500s, by the knights of St. John. There are centuries of history everywhere you wander and a golden glow everywhere you look. You won't find a McDonalds here, but you will find 500 year old fortresses, crumbly romantic lanes, old school independent grocers and butchers and authentic Maltese food and people. There is a swimming spot at the tip of the peninsula, just a few minutes from the house, with spectacular views of Valletta, so wonderful for a sunset dip There are several bus routes available from Isla bus terminus three minutes walk from the house, and the ferry to Valletta is about a 10 minute walk away, depending on your strolling speed!
