Property information

Lunzjata is a five bedroom maisonette and forms part of a small complex. It is set on the ground floor, accessed, through a small number of steps. All bedrooms are air-conditioned (pay-as-you-go) and WiFi is provided free-of-charge. On booking you will be sent an email with our standard rental agreement (this includes our house rules and booking terms & conditions). You would need to agree to our terms by electronically signing this rental agreement. Please note Lunzjata Maisonette is located in the village of Fontana, Gozo. Please keep our check in and out times in mind when booking flights. Should you be interested in airport transfers kindly contact us for more information. Kindly note that pool/beach towels are not provided. Bathroom towels are NOT to be used on the pool deck or taken off the premises. There is air-conditioning in bedrooms only, connected to a pay-as-you-go coin meter system. Hence, guests pay according to their consumption for the air-conditioning. As from 1 June 2016 travellers (adults 18+) staying in Malta and Gozo are required to pay a EUR0.50 Environmental Contribution for each night of their stay. This is capped at EUR5 per adult and is not included in the prices displayed on this website. Further down the garden, you will also find the fifth bedroom located in the annexe. The bedroom has its own en-suite shower and is also air-conditioned. Like the other bedrooms, this room is well-equipped but it’s recommended for the more adventurous in the group. The ceiling although not made of concrete still provides you with protection from the elements and the room may be slightly warmer than the rest but the air-conditioning will ensure a good night’s sleep.

Neighbourhood information

The small village of Fontana, a village in its own right, is often considered as a suburb of Gozo’s main town, Victoria. It straddles the evergreen Lunzjata and Xlendi Valleys and at the very edge of the village you can still see two centuries-old wash houses. Its proximity to Victoria makes Fontana a very good base from where you can explore the whole island.
