Casa Tortuga is located in Wild Turtle eco-retreat in Douar Houmr, North Morocco's, just a 25-minute drive from Assilah and the Atlantic Ocean. This adobe bricks farmhouse is a unique blend of rustic charm and sustainability, offering an escape from city life. Nestled in nature, the property features a natural pool, resembling a pond, where you can swim in lush green surroundings. A pool house with a bar, a brick pizza oven, an outside shower, lounge chairs and eco-friendly amenities like a natural water filtration system that showcase our commitment to sustainability. The main house accommodates up to 6 guests with two cozy bedrooms, each bearing a double bed and a single bed, a living room with a firepit, a separate kitchen, and modern dry toilet and bathroom extensions. The terrace provides diverse seating options and a hammock. While you're here, you may hear the distant sounds of neighboring farms, where dogs, donkeys, and roosters contribute to the symphony of rural life. These sounds are an integral part of the nature balance and the authentic experience that Casa Tortuga offers. If you like animals, you can meet our friendly animal companions: Suzy and Luna, the dogs, and Lucy, the cat. Wildlife abounds, including turtles, hedgehogs, frogs, toads, and peacocks, adding to the natural charm and the ecological balance of the place. There is a diverse range of restaurants in Assilah, 25 minutes from the farm. We don't offer WiFi, 4G network is available for Maroc Telecom, Inwi. It is weak for Orange.
