Nestled in a salubrious rural setting, surrounded by lush greenery with superb views of the Aluvihare mountains - Zee's Garden is located just minutes away from the historic town of Matale - in the heart of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. Zee's Garden is the perfect base from which to explore the historic city of Matale as well as the renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kandy, Dambulla & Sigiriya. It is set in a working spice and fruit farm. We have two well appointed suites complete with all comforts and conveniences and en suite bathrooms. It is the perfect setting for a calm, peaceful and rejuvenating holiday, offering you an experience of the very soul and warmth of Sri Lanka, in a typical village style atmosphere. Our guests cam explore the charming neighbouring villages and rural landscape, or take a fifteen minute Tuk Tuk ride to the ancient Kovil - (Hindu Temple) in Matale and the historic Aluvihare Cave Temple, both of which assume a vibrant atmosphere during festivals. Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya and the Knuckles Range, are all less than an hour away by car or bus.

We have had this farm for over 23 years and enjoyed many fun times with our family here. We built the two rooms to give out to tourists, as the location is in the midst of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. We are keen to offer our guest a truly Sri Lankan village type experience during there stay here with us. Our Guests are free to walk around the farm and explore our variety of crops and fruit trees. The views from the upper part of the farm too are wonderful and the journey is a pleasant hike. The cows are milked at 7.45am daily, you are welcome to watch or try your hand at it. The Well is equipped with two showers and you are welcome to have a fresh spring water shower in the well area if you wish. You can also experience a village style well bath, wearing the commonly worn Diyaredha (a sarong wrapped around your waist/chest), with well water being drawn out directly from the well.

Many temples, lakes, water falls and treks around the area. All are a days trip away from the farm.
