Jade Villas is in the heart of Sri Lanka's hills, in a 25 acre Tea Estate(Glen Nevis Tea Estate), in the outskirts of the Knuckles Mountain Range and brings you panoramic mountain and estate views, which brings tea with a story. Even though tea was introduced to Sri Lanka(then Ceylon) by the Scottish tea planter, James Taylor, first bushes in this area were planted in 1898 by Sealy Brothers from Dublin, Ireland, these age-old bushes were lovingly restored in 2020 during the pandemic to produce a single-origin tea.
Jade Villas was built just after the pandemic as the holiday home of the owners but later decided to open this hidden gem for guests to enjoy.
