Altyn Oimok is a guest house filled with soul and comfort. We built it with the whole family, putting all our efforts and paying attention to every detail. Tushkiiz, large elaborately embroidered wall hangings traditionally made in Kyrgyzstan, hang in every room. Guests who stay with us can always count on a warm welcome, cozy rooms and delicious breakfasts prepared with care. On the territory of our house there is a felt workshop and a felt shop, you can watch the process of creating national carpets, sign up for a master class and create your own carpet or find a souvenir shop in a toy made of wool. *Important - no alcohol is consumed in our house
We are a local, close-knit family that honors the traditions of our people. Keeping them within the family and sharing them with travelers is one of our values. Each of us puts something of our own into the house. Zhanyl, the owner and founder of the felt workshop, will always carefully tell you a couple of interesting stories about the country and life. The father of the family, Berdibek, will create comfort with his paintings. Sons Nurmakhammad and Nurali will give a tour of the estate in English. And the beds on which you will rest were made by the eldest son Daniyar. Zhanyl, Daniyar's wife, will take care of a delicious hearty breakfast. In Altyn Oimok you will definitely be surrounded in warmth and a kind atmosphere.
In the vicinity of Bokonbaevo you can find many hiking and cycling routes. Climb the mountains or swim in Issyk-Kul. Drive to the fairy tale canyon located 30 km away from cosmic beauty or walk through the valley of forgotten rivers in the Ak Sai canyon. For nature lovers, our place is a treasure trove of a wide variety of options for adventure and exploration.
