A 10-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Train Station, Takigawa Ryokan features comfortable Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Each air-conditioned room features a flat-screen TV and Japanese futon bedding. Bathroom and toilets are shared, and includes a hairdryer. Ryokan Takigawa is a 6-minute walk from the Higashi-Honganji Temple, and a 10-minute walk from the Kyoto Tower. The Takashimaya Department Store is a 20-minute walk away.
