Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, Hotel New Tohoku is situated a 2-minute walk from Ueno Subway Station Exit 2 and a 5-minute walk from JR Ueno Station. There is a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi access is available throughout the entire property. A convenience store, several restaurants and a pharmacy are located within a 5-minute stroll from the hotel. Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo and the Ameya-Yokocho open-air market are all within a 15-minute stroll, while popular areas such as Asakusa, Ginza, Akihabara, Shinjuku and Shibuya can be accessed directly from Ueno Station. Guest rooms are air-conditioned and come equipped with an LCD TV, refrigerator, toilet and an en suite bathroom with bathtub and shower. Guests can control the room’s temperature themselves.
