Offering traditional Japanese rooms with beautiful ocean sunset views, Sado Resort Hotel Azuma is right on Sado Island's rugged western coast. It boasts open-air hot-spring baths and private reservable hot-spring baths overlooking the spacious garden and rocky shore. Free hotel-wide WiFi is provided. Live music including local traditional music, Sado Okesa, is featured on site. Rooms at Sado Resort Hotel Azuma have tatami (woven-straw) floors and feature Japanese futon beds or Western beds. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with a bath. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Sado Gold Mine and Nagatemisaki Cape. Ryotsu Port, Sado Airport and KODO Village, home to the Japanese drummer group, are all about 25 km away. Bicycles can be rented on site. The hotel has a sundries shop, and the snack bar offers noodles and other items. A coin launderette is available for use. A Japanese breakfast and dinner are available for an extra fee and are served at the dining room.
