After almost 30 years living in Milan, first as a student and then as an entrepreneur, I decided to return to Puglia, to the Salento coast, between Taranto and Pulsano where I spent my childhood and adolescence, to rediscover the sea, the colours, the flavors , the family and the warm light that has always linked me to this territory. This area of ​​Italy, in Puglia, is magical, wonderful and full of sometimes unexpressed potential in which to bring my contribution to enhance the places I love, respecting their natural beauty. On the ground floor of the manor house there is a large terrace with sea view with dining area, comfortable sitting room and access to the garden, two double bedrooms, one with sea view, 2 bathrooms with shower, a large living room with fireplace, TV and sofa bed, a sea view kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, induction hob, fridge, kettle, toast. The dependance with independent entrance is accessed via a large room with TV, another fireplace, a kitchenette and two sofa beds, there are 2 other bedrooms, one double with a cot and a triple with 1 double bed and a single bed, a bathroom serves the two bedrooms. The annex has another sea view terrace with a marble dining table, benches and access to the garden. All the rooms are furnished in style with the oriental architecture that distinguishes this suggestive period architecture. Some furnishings have come directly from Turkey, Morocco and some Middle Eastern countries to recall the Ottoman and Norman influences of medieval Puglia. "La Baia Del Pescatore" is the closest beach reachable on foot just 200 meters from the villa, it is a free and romantic beach where some small fishing boats are moored, equipped with parking spaces and an open-air bar / aperitif / restaurant area open until late evening. On foot or preferably by car you can reach other larger equipped beaches such as Capitan Morgan or El Cohiba with bar and restaurant service until the evening. In the area there are other exquisite restaurants such as "Casa Mita", famous in the area for its fresh fish or "Maometto" in the town of Pulsano just 5 minutes away by car. There is no shortage of more sought-after refreshment places such as the locally famous "La Barca" restaurant with sea view just 500 meters on foot or the "Melià" pizza restaurant a little further on or the "Mari Contemporary Pizza" pizzeria 5 minutes by car in Pulsano. For a different evening we recommend the "Katerin Pub" with music and good food. Nearby in summer there are also discos, rides and numerous clubs. Marina di Pulsano is the only fraction of the Apulian municipality of Pulsano, in the province of Taranto, located in the Salento area on the Gulf of Taranto and is, therefore, bathed by the Ionian Sea. Its beaches are much appreciated especially by families with children in tow. The places of greatest interest in the area are the beaches of which there is a wide choice, the characteristic Apulian villages, including the closest Pulsano, Sara, Manduria, Oria, Grottaglie which can be reached in a few minutes by car. There is no lack of dance evenings in the surroundings, lounge bars, aperitifs by the sea, food and wine tours. From the Marina di Pulsano you can reach the capital of Taranto in 15 minutes by car, a city characterized by its history, its two seas, the old city and the Aragonese Castle.
