The Exterior
Trulli Papavero is surrounded by a large plot of land cultivated with olive trees and fruit trees, bordered by the characteristic dry stone walls, a construction technique recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Near the entrance, there are 4 seats and a small table with an umbrella, offering shade in the morning. In the afternoon, the area in front of the property is shaded, where you can relax in peace and quiet on the hammock, perhaps with a good book.
The exterior also features a barbecue for guest use.
Trulli Papavero is situated in the magical landscape of Valle d’Itria, one of Puglia’s most captivating and authentic regions. This area offers a unique combination of rolling countryside, ancient olive groves, charming hilltop towns, and easy access to the Adriatic coast’s crystal-clear waters.

Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will be drawn to the Ciclovia dell’Acquedotto Pugliese—a scenic 20 km cycling and walking path that winds through the serene countryside dotted with vineyards, centuries-old olive trees, trulli, and traditional masserie, all framed by iconic dry-stone walls, another UNESCO-recognized heritage.
