Welcome to The Hideaway Apartments, perfectly located for easy access to Sauze d’Oulx, the Via Lattea / Milky Way ski area and Gran Bosco National Park. Completely renovated in the past year, every aspect of the property has been designed with our guests in mind. Whether you're here to ski or snowboard, bike or hike, or just relax and explore Val di Susa, you'll find everything for the perfect holiday. Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. They include tea and coffee making facilities, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, and a full-size fridge and freezer. They're stocked with all the glasses, crockery, pots and pans and utensils you'll need if you want to stay in and cook. The bathrooms are fitted with heated towel rails, bidet or handheld bidet, shower and bathtub. Towels and bath sheets are provided. The bedrooms can be arranged with twin or king-sized beds. There’s ample storage space, hangers and drawers. We also provide an iron, ironing board and clothes drying racks to make sure you’re looking and feeling your best, whether you’re hitting the slopes, dining out at one of the amazing local restaurants or exploring the area. They're also equipped with wifi and a smart TV with free Netflix. One apartment comes with a private balcony with chairs, and the second apartment is on the ground floor with a sun terrace with mountain views. Just 50m from the bus stop, you’ll be at the Jovenceaux ski lift and into the Via Lattea ski area in 10 minutes, avoiding the queues (and the long walk up the hill) of the central Sauze d’Oulx ski lifts. Private parking at the apartment is available on request (if you don't mind narrow, Italian streets) and there is free, off-road parking 100m from the apartment. For those travelling by car, The Hideaway’s location is perfect for easy access to Bardonecchia, Cesana, Claviere, Montgenèvre and Sestriere.

We’re Ash & Angie, a British/Irish couple who love the mountains. After spending years working across Europe in mountain resorts, we've put down roots right on the edge of the Gran Bosco National Park, just minutes from the ski lifts of Sauze d’Oulx and the Via Lattea ski area. Ash is the founder of monsguide – your expert guide to the mountains, and loves sharing insider knowledge and top tips with our guests, so you can make the absolute most of your holiday. He’s a passionate snowboarder, although he can sometimes be convinced to ski, too. Angie is a writer and when she’s not working on a book or updating our blog, she loves to go hiking in the forest (just one minute from the front door) with our Australian Shepherd, Wilson. She skis and snowboards, but will happily have a long lunch on the mountain, enjoying the views, too. Our perfect day would involve doing outdoor sports, whether hiking, biking, climbing, skiing or snowboarding, followed by sampling incredible food and wine at a local restaurant. And with over a decade of experience in the travel industry, we’re passionate about helping our guests to have a holiday filled with your own perfect days.

San Marco is just five minutes by bus or car to the ski lifts of Sauze d’Oulx and the Via Lattea ski area (2km). Located on the edge of the forest, you get the best of both worlds – an authentic Italian Village surrounded by nature, with easy access to the bustling town of Sauze. The bus stop is 50m from the front door, with a regular service down to Oulx, and up to Sauze, both filled with coffee shops, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Turin Airport (90km) is around an hour by car, and easy to reach by train from Oulx Station. The train to Turin centre takes around an hour if you want to explore museums, art galleries or the Juventus stadium. Bardonecchia Ski Area is less than 20 minutes by car (18km) and Cesana, Claviere and Montgenèvre (covered by the Via Lattea lift pass) are all 30 minutes or less by car. Of course, you can ski into all these areas from Sauze d’Oulx, too! For non-skiers, you can access easy forest trails from the front door. There’s snowshoeing, a spa with jacuzzi and sauna, and cafés and restaurants, all five minutes away by bus or car.
