Welcome to my family's birthplace!

I'm an Italian Museologist and Art Historian. I work as an Interior Designer and Decorator with frescoes and restorations. My father Piero and I will be happy to welcome you to our place and provide all the information you may need to plan your perfect itinerary in Tuscany. Cant't wait to share our world with you! The apartment is a located at the base floor of a large Renaissance "Palazzetto", furnished with some pieces that belonged to my grandparents and have been in the family for generations. Castiglion Fiorentino is the perfect location to explore Tuscany, Umbria and Central Italy. You'll be just a few minutes away from the beautiful Florence, Siena, Cortona, Arezzo, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pisa, Assisi, Spoleto ... If you travel by train you'll find the train station within walking distance (13 minutes) and from there you can reach Arezzo in 10 minutes, Florence in 40 minutes and Rome in 1 hour 30 min. This lovely house is located in the center of Castiglion Fiorentino, a charming medieval town where you can enjoy authentic Tuscan living and get to know the locals and their traditions. You can walk around and enjoy shops and restaurants where to taste the typical Tuscan cuisine and local wines. Despite being a small old village, Castiglion Fiorentino is vivid and vibrant town with lovely nightlife and lots of events during the day. Food is superb! The famous world-renowned Fiorentina steak is right in front of home at the gorgeous restaurant "Muzzicone", where a skilled and entertaining chef will cut your raw meat right in front of you: a true typical and unique food show! If you are setting off for a day trip in Tuscany, stop by the city center and grab a delicious panino with finocchiona ham and pecorino cheese, you'll be longing to come back home soon to have more! Excellent wine will not miss, just make a wish. It will be lovely to enjoy a relaxed aperitivo on the terrace or arrange a romantic dinner in the garden or inside in the large rustic living room.
