I am originally from Munich, Germany, and am living in Taormina for many years. Once you come to Taormina you will experience the mystic spirit this place has. Once experienced it's hard to return home so I decided to stay in one of the most beautiful places I know. Being married to an Italian I love cooking and enjoying life in the best way. The apartment is located in the quiet part of the historic city center of Taormina and all the restaurants, bars, and nightlife locations can be reached within a short walking distance. Since everything can be reached within a short walk and the bus stop of the city line is nearby, no car is needed from what our guests say. The apartment is spacious, light-flooded, and offers stunning 360-degree views on the coastline of Calabria, the bay of Giardini Naxos, the Taormina historic center, Castemola, and Mt. Etna. ROOM LAYOUT 2 x double bedrooms each with a balcony and unique views of the Mediterranean Sea. 1 x small single bedroom with roof-light. 1 x small bedroom with a bunk bed which is ideal for two teenage children. 1 x large bathroom with double sink, bathtub and shower, toilette, and bidet. 1 x smaller bathroom with single sink, bathtub, shower, toilette, washing machine, roof-light. 1 x spacious living-dining area with terrace and 2 balconies, large windows, impressing views on Mt Etna, Taormina, and the Mediterranean Sea; comfortable futon flip-out sofa with duckboard and two sofa beds. The apartment is located on the 5th floor without an elevator. PARKING There are two parking options available: • Nearby Car Park: Public parking is possible at "Porta Catania Parking" which is approximately a 7-minute walk distant. They offer daily (twenty-five euro) and hourly rates. • Valet Parking: Available for thirty euro per day, offering unlimited car pick-ups and deliveries for added convenience. The apartment is located in the historic city center of Taormina. The area is very quiet, and safe and is considered one of the most pleasant housing areas of Taormina. Stores are within walking distance. The renown Corso Umberto of Taormina (5 minutes walk), all sites, monuments, bars, and restaurants are located in the vicinity of the apartment and can be reached within a short walking distance. In front of the condo, there is the bus stop of the shuttle bus (Linea Verde) which gets you to the train station, the bus terminal, and the beach of Isola Bella. So you may even don't need a car to stay in Taormina and getting around. For people who like hiking or biking the apartment is a great starting point. The hiking path to Castelmola (sentiero Saraceno) starts just 200 meters from the apartment away. All the sights, restaurants, bars, and nightlife are within proximity yet without any disturbance.
