Maratea Sunset Suite is a residence that offers a charming suite in a historic building in the heart of one of the oldest villages in the historic center of Maratea (PZ - Basilicata), with a terrace overlooking the incomparable beauty of the Gulf of Policastro. Independent entrance, the Suite can be reached on foot from the characteristic alleys of Maratea in 5 minutes from P.zza Buraglia - Centro di Maratea. Beds: 2 in double bed + 2 in sofà bed. Possibility of cot for baby. The Suite is equipped with: fireplace, independent underfloor heating, air conditioning, flat-screen TV and mini-bar. Also available: a private bathroom with shower with rain shower and hand shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. In the morning you can prepare breakfast in the comfort of your room where you will find a kettle, a coffee machine and various types of tea and coffee pods. Maratea Sunset Suite offers guests wi-fi internet connection, cleaning services, linen. Possibility of car parking on the adjacent Via Carlo Mazzei or in the public car parks of the historic center of Maratea. Maratea Sunset Suite is 4 Km. From the Railway Station.
I have spent my holidays in Maratea for almost 40 years! I love Maratea for its enchanting sunsets and for the splendid and uncontaminated sea, which I am sure my guests will also appreciate!
A "pearl" set in the Gulf of Policastro and overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Maratea is a place with versatile landscapes, with the intoxicating scents of the sea and flowers, which cover it in every corner, with rocks caressed by the rays of the sun to the point of creating brilliant plays of light. The blue of the sea and the green of the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub meet the rocky cliff and together they surround splendid beaches in the towns of Acquafredda, Cersuta, Fiumicello, the Black Beach, the Secche, Castrocucco. So the coast, embellished offshore by rocks and islets, winds for 32 km, interspersed with high and steep rocky walls which, now plunge into the Tyrrhenian Sea, now retract welcoming coves and beaches. Dominating the enchanting landscape, stands the ancient village of Maratea on a spur, enriched by eighteenth-century portals and alleys, arches and palaces, caves, coastal towers, and, among others, a welcoming and intimate square. The historic center offers a rich concentration of architecture of historical value, including places of worship, for this reason Maratea is also called "the city of 44 churches".
