My name is Michela and I have been working professionally and with dedication in the hospitality sector for over twenty years. The experience I have gained over the years allows me to offer my guests attentive and personalised hospitality, with the aim of making every stay at Portico Rosa comfortable, peaceful and authentic.
I offer guests not only well-kept and welcoming surroundings, but also a deep knowledge of the area. I am always available to provide information and practical advice on what to visit in Cuglieri and the surrounding area: from the pristine beaches of S'Archittu, Santa Caterina di Pittinuri and Is Arenas, to the nature trails of Montiferru, not to mention the historic villages and the best places to enjoy local cuisine.
Il Portico Rosa has been lovingly renovated by my husband, respecting the historic soul of the building and integrating modern comforts. Guests stay in a prestigious building, where the past can still be felt today through elements such as the stone frieze with the monogram “IHS”, evidence of a probable ecclesiastical origin linked to the Church of St. John the Baptist, located opposite the building.
I believe that hospitality is made up of small gestures, attention to detail and the ability to listen. Every guest has different needs and my commitment is to always offer a stay that lives up to expectations, in an environment that combines history, authenticity and comfort.
It will be a pleasure to welcome you to Portico Rosa and accompany you on your discovery of one of the most authentic and fascinating areas of Sardinia!

Il Portico Rosa is a welcoming, family-run establishment located in the heart of Cuglieri, a picturesque village in western Sardinia. The house, consisting of three independent studio flats (one per floor, accessible by stairs, no lift), has been recently renovated with great care and furnishings chosen personally by us. Each flat has been designed to offer a comfortable and relaxing stay, combining the charm of the building's history with modern design. The interiors feature a simple and bright style, with light wood furniture, natural fabrics and neutral tones that create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Each studio apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, double bed, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV. The furnishings are designed to ensure maximum comfort, with attention to detail that makes guests feel at home.
On the ground floor, Il Portico Rosa also offers a common area where guests can spend time reading, working remotely or enjoying a coffee in total tranquillity. Il Portico Rosa's strategic location allows you to easily explore the most authentic Sardinia. The beaches of S'Archittu, Santa Caterina di Pittinuri and Is Arenas are a short drive away, and Cuglieri offers breathtaking views of Montiferru and a relaxing atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded tourist destinations. Il Portico Rosa is located in a building that may have been a rectory linked to the Church of St. John the Baptist, opposite the property. The stone frieze with the engraving “IHS”, dating from the 15th-16th century, is located at the entrance to the building. Access to the floors is via stairs.
Only the flat on the 3rd floor has a terrace, while the flats on the 1st and 2nd floors have two large windows overlooking the church of San Giovanni.
