Situated near to one of the now demolished gates in the wall which once surrounded the city, the hotel was established from the renovated home of a well-known family of Florentine merchants. The terracotta, stonework and the fine collection of old tools on display around the hotel are all authentic features of the original house. These historic aspects, combined with modern comforts aim to offer you a unique stay in the heart of Florence.
