Right in front of the Trevi Fountain, the Fontana Hotel is housed in a 17th-century building in Rome’s historical centre. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Wi-Fi throughout is free. Formerly a convent, the Fontana Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Barberini Metro Station on line A, just 2 stops from Termini Train Station. The Pantheon is 500 metres away. The air-conditioned rooms are uniquely decorated, and feature elegant wooden floors. Each features a flat-screen TV with SKY channels. Some overlook the Trevi Fountain, and some include beamed ceilings. Small private bathrooms includes a hairdryer and toiletries. A varied buffet-style breakfast with sweet produce is served from 07:00 until 10:00, consisting of Italian pastries, fresh fruit, cheese and ham. The RoofTop Lounge, overlooking the fountain, serves classic Italian specialities for aperitif and dinner. The hotel’s multilingual staff can offer information about the local sights.
