Just 70 metres from Piazza San Marco and 100 metres from Harry’s Bar, Hotel Casanova is set in an 18th-century building in the centre of Venice. It offers free WiFi throughout. St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s palace are 300 metres from the hotel. The Vallaresso vaporetto water-bus stop is 200 metres away, and the Accademia is a 10-minute walk from the Casanova. Rooms come with air conditioning and an LCD TV with satellite channels. A simple Italian breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room. The Calle Frezzeria area has many cafés, Venetian restaurants and pizzerias for lunch and dinner.
