Relax in the middle of nature looking at the sea! 2 separate units surrounded by a blooming garden with olive and lemon trees in one of the most picturesque village in Finale Ligure! The indipendent ensuite bedroom is located in a totally renovated stone house on top of a hill surrounded by greenery with a wonderful view over the sea and the valley. The room is very bright thanks to its exposure and the bathroom was built directly in the living rock. The guests have a direct access to a lawn which connects the master bedroom to the living area. The other accomodation is made up with a relaxing area, a kitchen, a bathroom and a sleeping corner; there are 2 sofa beds which can become a French bed and a king one if necessary. The external area includes an openair kitchen and a patio under a huge arbour in front of the bay. A large enclosed private parking is available near the entrance gates and a 30m long path, with a final climb, leads to the accomodations. In the upper part of the hill there is the landlords' holiday home. The shared areas are the parking, the access paths to the garden and, upon request, the laundry (next to the main house).

My husband and me have recently built this property with the aim of protecting as much as possible the natural environment for local flora and fauna. We designed homes that blend with the landscape creating the right armony of architecture and nature through indoor-outdoor connections, vegetable rooftop, walls cad in stone. We tried to reduce light pollution and to keep wildflowers growing spontaneously; this way every spring pollinating insects can find food and stock up pollen. This practice allowed us to preserve a diverse variety of colorful flowers, wild herbs and Mediterranean scrub.

Calvisio is an ancient hamlet slightly inland along a series of green hills. Particularly, our property lies on the top of the central hill looking south over the sea, just above the oldest building in Calvisio: the church of Saints Cornelio and Cipriano. This area can be the starting point to popular trekking, MTB trails and climbing routes which make the area an international destination for outdoor activities without giving up the seaside: the beaches are just 2km away!
