In 1990, relocating from Florence to the farm Il Bacio, our family fulfilled its dream of a return to a simpler life in touch with nature, producing organic wine and olive oil. Following a careful restoration of the ancient farmhouse, the former barn and the wood-house, since 1998 we have been welcoming guests from all over the world, doing our best to make them feel at home and relax, while helping them discover the many beauties Tuscany has to offer.

We welcome you to our family farm located between Florence and Siena in the Chianti hills of Tuscany. You are invited to stay in one of our Tuscan-style apartments, relax by our swimming pool surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, and taste our organic wines in the old cellar. Each apartment has its own independent entrance, a beautiful panoramic view of the countryside, and a private outdoor space in the shade of a grape pergola, equipped for outdoor lunches and candlelit dinners. In every apartment there is a fully-equipped kitchen. Linens are provided. At the swimming pool, each apartment has its own beach umbrella, with deckchairs and comfortable sun beds. How to reach us: We advise you to use the Firenze Siena freeway and exit at BARBERINO TAVARNELLE (if you using the navigator, it will tell you to exit to BARGINO, it's the fastest way but the road is not well maintained) . Then proceed following the signs for Tavarnelle and then for Il Bacio

The family farm Il Bacio is located in the heart of Tuscany, nestled in gently sloping hills covered in vineyards and olive groves, typical of the Chianti region, a unique territory known for its landscapes, history, food and wine. Il Bacio is the ideal base for exploring all of the main Tuscan cities of art. Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, is only 30 minutes away. Siena, medieval jewel, can be reached in 40 minutes. San Gimignano, with its medieval towers, is 30 minutes away. Pisa, with the wonderful Miracles Square and Leaning Tower, and Lucca, with its splendid walls, are within a one-hour drive. Pienza, Renaissance jewel, and Montalcino and Montepulciano, with their world-renowned wines, are a little more than one hour away. Finally, the picturesque Cinque Terre are around two hours by car. Surrounding our farm there are numerous charming medieval villages, such as Barberino Val d’Elsa and Greve in Chianti. Last, but not least, around us there are several foot and bike paths of remarkable panoramic and architectural interest. 3 km from Il Bacio is Tavarnelle, there you can find the supermarket, the pastry shop, the bakery, the pharmacy and various restaurants and pizzerias.
