Meet your hosts – Tanzin Dorjee and Dechen Choegyal, a young, passionate couple from the peaceful village of Lossar in Spiti Valley. Both come from humble backgrounds and recently began their journey together after meeting through social media. Their bond quickly grew into a strong and loving relationship, leading to marriage and the blessing of a beautiful baby boy, Tenzin Delek – the namesake of Delek Homestay.
Despite their young age, Tanzin and Dechen took a bold step into hospitality with a dream to share the warmth of Spitian culture with travelers from across the world. With the support of Dorjee's loving parents, Mr. Rabyang and Mrs. Dolma, their home is filled with genuine care, laughter, and a strong sense of togetherness.
At Delek Homestay, you’ll experience not just a stay, but a heartfelt connection. Both hosts are known for being punctual, hardworking, and extremely attentive. They take pride in preparing delicious homemade food, offering personalized service, and going the extra mile to ensure every guest feels like a part of the family. Whether it's sharing stories over a cup of butter tea or guiding you through the local traditions.
Kind and good in nature.
