I love cooking new dishes and planning trips, which is why your stay at my abode will feel personal and unlike anything commonly found at other places in the Andamans. You’ll find Arya’s Homestay located on Japan Road, an area of immense historical importance; it was once part of a Japanese settlement during their occupation of the Andaman Islands. Today, it is a peaceful residential locale that beautifully blends island life with select tropical scenery. The neighbourhood sits slightly elevated above the rest of the city, which gives it a panoramic sea view and a refreshing coastal breeze throughout the day. From our homestay’s balcony, our guests can see boats and ships gliding across the water, hear numerous birds chirping, and enjoy the calm rhythm that our islands guarantee. The area is surrounded by lush greenery and feels deeply tropical, yet it remains very safe, friendly, and filled with welcoming local families. Although our property offers quiet seclusion and ‘All to ourselves’ charm, everything that you will ever need is close by. The airport is less than a kilometre away, which makes arrivals and departures a breeze. The main ferry terminal is also nearby for easy island-hopping. There’s a beautiful Ganesha temple nearby. The area is also in proximity to local vegetable and fish markets that offer a glimpse of everyday island life. A short walk, ride, or quick auto journey will take you to some of Port Blair’s best spots for fresh, local island cuisine and scenic viewpoints by the bay. Rickshaws and cabs are easily available, and our property has its own private parking space, should you choose to rent a car or bike.
