You can also book horseriding on the beach, or go walking or hiking- trails nearby include Arroo Mountain, Benbulben Forest Walk, and various routes in the Bluestack Mountains. Bundoran is ideal for access not only to Donegal, but the lovely Glens of Leitrim, the Fermanagh Lakelands and magnificent Yeats Country, Sligo. For history lovers, there are fantastic sites, including Ballyshannon Abbey, Donegal Castle, CreevyKeel tomb, Carrowmore Megaliths, Queen Maeve's cairn on Knocknarea Mountain, Lissadell house and loads more.
