The Layar – Designer Villas and Spa enjoys a prime location in the heart of Seminyak, 1 km from Seminyak Beach. Uniquely designed with sloping roofs, the villas provide guests with private pools set amidst landscaped tropical gardens. WiFi is free throughout. Petitenget Beach is also 1 km away from The Layar - Designer Villas and Spa, CHSE Certified, while it takes 30 minutes to reach Ngurah Rai International Airport by car from the property. Airport transfers can be arranged at a charge. An open concept living and dining area as well as a fully-equipped kitchen await guests in each spacious villa. An iPod dock and a flat-screen TV with DVD player are among the in-villa comforts. Fitted with thatched roofs, all villas come with private terraces overlooking the pool and garden. Leisurely afternoons can be spent lounging on the sun deck, having a barbecue gathering by the pool or indulging in spa treatments. Vehicle rental and sightseeing arrangements are offered for easy exploration of the area. Operating a 24-hour front desk, The Layar also offers currency exchange service. The in-house chef can prepare meals for lunch and dinner upon request. Alternatively, room service is available daily. Daily breakfast is included in the rates.

There’s nothing quite like The Layar – an iconic 23-villa estate set in a coveted residential area in the heart of uber-chic Seminyak, moments from Bali’s best restaurants, boutiques and sunset beach bars. Each designer villa offers generous living space that flows freely onto the pool deck and is defined by tapering, sail-like roofs. The villas offer from one to four bedrooms, all with glamorous bathrooms and views onto wide gardens. Guests have the choice of ordering room service, booking a chef for a barbecue alongside their private swimming pool, or self-catering in their own equipped kitchen.

Every villa at The Layar is set in a private and immaculately kept tropical garden bursting with colour and the sweet sound of native birdlife. Beyond the garden a private lane leads up to a road from which it’s only a five-to-ten-minute walk to either the fascinating arts and crafts shops lining Jalan Raya Kerobokan or the huge selection of restaurants and bars along Jalan Kayu Aya (also known as Eat Street). Another five minutes’ walk will bring you to the beach, where you can choose which of the many hip bars to stop at and watch another fine Bali sun set.
