Bird Nest Vác is located smack in the historic centre, on the hill of the former fortress, next to the Euro 6 bike path. You will find a little paradise and your home away from home. The house is perfect for a family or group of friends: a large and quiet garden with a pool, a patio and a sun deck await you. The house, built in the 1930s, has been completely renovated. We have a fully equipped kitchen and there is a barbeque outside. There are many excellent restaurants nearby, and the sites are all within walking distance. Other than the sauna, the use of all the facilities is included in the base fee.
Bori and Miklos own this property and for the time they live abroad, they have converted it into a guest house - exactly the kind of place they like to stay at when they travel. They manage the guest house jointly with their friend Regina - the person you are most likely to meet during her stay. Regina knows Vác inside out, so feel free to ask her any questions you may have about our town and activities.
The house is located in a quiet dead-end street in the historic centre of town, on the old castle hill. All sights are within walking distance; the Danube and the famous Danube promenade is only 300 meters away. This is the perfect spot if you want to take a rest for a few days - or more - while biking along the Euro 6. Or if you want to visit the many historic and picturesque villages of the Danube bend and the surrounding hills (the Hungarians call it mountains). Bird Nest Vác is also an excellent and family friendly option for visiting Budapest, which is just a 25-minute air conditioned train ride away from Vác: after the hustle and bustle of the city, your kids can run around jump into the pool, while you can cool down in the shade or enjoy sunset views from the sundeck.
