Apartment is situated in a lovely and peaceful village Saplunara on the island of Mljet. Mljet island is the eighth largest Croatian island, situated near the peninsula of Pelješac, Dubrovnik and Korcula. It is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, dry summers and mild winters and is one of the sunniest Adriatic islands. Beautiful scenery, crystal clear sea, lakes, islands, rich cultural heritage make the island truly paradise on earth. In northwest part of the island you can find a national park with a lot of beautiful things to explore. Ancient Greek poet Homer writes about this island in Odysee, and how he had sailed in this region. Apostle Paul mentions this island on his voyage through Adriatic and visits the island on his way to Rome. Just as the destiny brought many visitors to this island throughout centuries, today’s visitors are coming to experience stillness of Mljet. Apartments offer free wireless connection in some area.
